Privacy Notice

How Belobrov Technologies handles personal data during product verification, pilot requests and service administration.

1. Who operates Belobrov Technologies

Belobrov Technologies is a project and working brand currently operated in the Republic of Moldova by Belobrov Victor. This website does not represent that a company named “Belobrov Technologies SRL” or another legal entity with that name has been incorporated.

For privacy requests, contact victor.belobrov@proton.me.

Effective date: 10 September 2026.

2. Scope and legal framework

This notice applies to this website, public product-verification pages, pilot inquiry forms and administrative service activity. Personal-data processing is intended to follow applicable law in the Republic of Moldova, including Law No. 195/2024 on personal data protection, as applicable from 23 August 2026.

3. Data we process

Depending on how you use the service, Belobrov Technologies may process:

  • Pilot inquiry data: company or organization name, contact name, email, product category, estimated quantity and message content.
  • Verification telemetry: timestamp, approximate country/city where available, and a per-product pseudonymous request fingerprint. The user-agent may be processed transiently when deriving that fingerprint but is not intentionally stored in new scan records.
  • Security data: pseudonymous failed-login and public-form fingerprints with timestamps used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
  • Administrative data: audit events created when product, batch, status, settings or provisioning actions are performed.
  • Product and NFC metadata: product identifiers, serial numbers, batch data, provisioning state and optional NFC UID.
  • Manufacturer content: logos and product images uploaded by an administrator. Uploaded images are normalized and re-encoded before storage to reduce embedded metadata.

For new verification events, the application does not intentionally retain the raw IP address in the product scan record. The request IP may be processed transiently to derive a keyed HMAC fingerprint used for short-session deduplication and anomaly detection.

4. Why we process data

  • To respond to pilot inquiries and take steps requested before a possible service relationship.
  • To provide product registry, verification and operational-security functions.
  • To detect duplicate-use patterns, abuse and suspicious identifier activity.
  • To protect the administrative console and maintain an operational audit trail.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.

Depending on context, the legal basis may include steps requested before entering an agreement, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where consent is specifically required.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Belobrov Technologies currently uses a strictly necessary administrator session cookie for authenticated console access. The current public website does not intentionally use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral advertising pixels or non-essential analytics cookies. See the Cookie Notice for details.

6. Service providers and international processing

The service currently relies on third-party infrastructure providers including Supabase for database and controlled asset storage, and Vercel for application hosting and delivery. Data may be processed in jurisdictions outside the Republic of Moldova depending on the selected service region and the providers’ infrastructure and subprocessors.

Before a paid or production pilot, the operator should verify the selected data region, applicable provider terms and data-processing arrangements, and use appropriate contractual, organizational and technical safeguards for international transfers where required.

7. Retention

The current operational retention targets are:

  • Detailed product-verification telemetry: up to 180 days.
  • Public-form and administrator login rate-limit records: up to 30 days.
  • Pilot inquiries that do not become an active relationship: up to 365 days from submission, unless a longer period is required for an ongoing discussion or legal obligation.
  • Administrative audit events: up to 730 days during the pilot stage.
  • Product, batch and manufacturer records: for the active pilot/service period and thereafter only as required by the applicable agreement, legal obligations, dispute handling or a documented customer instruction.

Automated database cleanup is configured for the time-based records above. Backups and provider-level disaster-recovery copies may persist for their normal backup lifecycle before aging out.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova.

9. Automated risk signals

Belobrov Technologies can assign a risk score to a product-verification event based on signals such as verification velocity, approximate location changes and pseudonymous visitor diversity. These signals are intended to assist human security review. They do not by themselves prove counterfeiting, fraud or the identity of a person, and they are not intended to produce a solely automated legal or similarly significant decision about an individual.

10. Children

The website and pilot-request workflow are directed to businesses and adult users. Belobrov Technologies does not intentionally solicit personal data from children. If data relating to a child is submitted without an appropriate basis, contact the operator so it can be reviewed and removed where required.

11. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated as the product, infrastructure, processing activities or legal status of the project changes. The effective date shown above will be updated when material revisions are made.
